The Visala Indigo500 series data processing unit is a host device suitable for the Visala Indigo compatible with independent intelligent probes. The Indigo500 family consists of the Indigo520 and Indigo510 data processing units.Both data processing units come with a touch-screen display made of chemically strengthened (IK08) glass, providing ideal local data visualization. A display-free version is also available. Both also have expansion options for measuring probe connections, power supply voltage, and wiring. Rugged IP66 and NEMA4 rated metal enclosures ensure reliable performance in harsh environments.

Display for easy evaluation and visualization of data: A touch-screen display makes configuration easier and provides local data visualization and simple diagnostic data. You can check process conditions while performing on-site maintenance. Analyze historical data from the trend view and use event logs to detect process faults. Once the automated system does not archive the data, the local data store in the data processing unit can come in handy.

Multiple connection modes, power supply and connection types: Indigo data processing unit is the host device of Vaisala Indigo compatible with independent intelligent probes. The data processing unit has both analog and digital output channels, configurable relay options and Ethernet connections. Power options include protected Ultra-low voltage (PELV), main power, and Power over Ethernet (PoE). All Indigo probes can be connected to any Indigo data processing unit, and the probes can be replaced without interrupting the process flow to shorten downtime. The data processing unit has an outer housing to withstand extreme conditions and a built-in connector to interconnect without the addition of additional field junction boxes.

One or two probes are supported: The Indigo510 data processing unit can be used for single-probe measurements, while the Indigo520 can be used for dual-probe measurements. For example, the probe uses a standard cable with an indicator light that lights up when the probe is energized.

Plug and play, quick installation: Indigo compatible probes are easy to connect, ensuring rapid deployment. The probe can be directly connected to the data processing unit or can be connected using a cable. The distance between the probe and the data processing unit is up to 30 meters. If standard cables are used, the distance between the data processing unit and the probe can be longer.
